About Tarsus Advon

Tarsus Advon (originally Advon Technolgies) was founded on a single premise: Technology evolution was changing the business of the meeting and event industry. Advon Technologies set out to define how a new breed of tools create and compete, to highlight new event business practices, and to showcase the teams and individuals who are reinventing trade shows and meetings. In 2010, Advon Technolgies was aquired by a company called Tarsus, creating the company that is now known as Tarsus Advon.

Today, the meeting and event business world continues to change and Tarsus Advon continues to evolve as well. Tarsus Advon has always been about innovative people and ideas. Our mission is to find the creative workers and organizations that are building the future, and to present this information in smart, compelling, and useful ways. This mission is the core of our organization’s DNA; it is the brilliant bit that differentiates us. 

About MeetingTechOnline

MeetingTechOnline is a community portal established to provide technology information through research and reviews for the Meetings Industry.  MTO brings together buyers interested in the latest innovation with suppliers seeking to provide education about their products and services.  Prior to MTO, no single source in the industry offered opinions, ratings and feedback about technology based on interviews with the decision makers who are selecting and implementing these tools.

Through MTO, suppliers obtain a reliable way to target customers and maximize internet marketing resources.  By enabling category advertising, MTO emphasizes the delivery of contextually relevant, unobtrusive messages intended to help buyers. MeetingTechOnline is the single source of technology education and information for the Meetings Industry.

MTO Summit

In 2008, Tarsus Advon and MeetingTechOnline launched MTO Summit, a series of executive level conferences which bring together the buyers and supplies of technology in the events industry. The goal of MTO Summit is to bring an extension of MeetingTechOnline into reality with a face-to-face networking event.

These nationwide conferences educate association executives, show producers and management on technology in the events industry, and introduce technology suppliers who are changing the way technology is used.
