MTO Summit is for the buyers and users of the next generation exhibition tools: show owners, association executives, corporate meeting planners, marketers, and exhibition strategists, people who have experiences to share and a passion for learning - the hot new thing, lessons from failures, innovations and inspirations, and the practical applications of all of the above.

The MTO Summit featured several cutting-edge educational sessions, keynotes and networking opportunities in Chicago:

  • Featured Speaker: Eric Ly, a successful entrepreneur from Silicon Valley, where he is Founder and CEO of Presdo Inc. Presdo provides two products: a group scheduling application, Presdo.com, and Presdo Match, a product that provides one-on-one scheduling for attendees and enables face-to-face meetings at conferences and trade shows. Prior to that, Eric was a co-founder at LinkedIn, where he was founding CTO and VP. At LinkedIn, Eric helped create some of LinkedIn's core product features. He launched the team that created LinkedIn's third-party integrations.
  • MTO SUMMIT MARKETING CHALLENGES WORKSHOP - The Marketing Challenges Workshop (MCW) was created to address the hardest challenges that event-marketing practitioners are facing. Given the tougher economy and difficulty in the attracting and keeping quality audiences for market leading conferences and expositions, marketing professionals have an urgent need to find timely solutions to hit market attendance goals.
  • Innovative Panel Discussions, including the future of mobile apps and how they can be used to enhance an event experience, virtual events and how they can add value to a live event and how is disruptive technology impacting standard trade show models.
