Shawn O’Keefe began his passionate journey into technology at the University of Texas at Austin, where he focused on convergent media in the innovative and unconventional Advanced Communications Technologies Laboratory (ACTLab).

For over ten years, he has been at the forefront of emerging web technologies, most recently with social computing. When not working as a producer of the South by Southwest Interactive Festival or as a digital consultant, he likes to play music and race his bicycle around the block.
