At MTO Summit Chicago, meeting professionals nationwide gathered for the first ever MTO Summit. Attendees heard marketing professional David Meerman Scott deliver a ground breaking keynote session, followed by a full day of exhibition and social media education. MTO Summit Chicago also announced the MeetingTechOnline Top Technology Supplier and Innovator Awards of 2008 and was followed by a two hour networking reception. MeetingTechOnline recognized the Top Technology Suppliers of  2008 at the MTO Summit in Chicago, honoring the most distinguished and innovative technology suppliers in the meetings and events industry. The candidate pool was notably exceptional, with numerous candidates displaying outstanding attributes of innovation, originality, and leadership in the development of technology tools. The pervasiveness of these qualities made the selection process more challenging for the panel of MTO staff responsible for choosing the winners.
